I have been teaching trumpet lessons for almost 20 years, since I was a college student in Philadelphia. When I moved to Houston for graduate school at Rice, I taught in Pearland, Texas and in Katy, Texas. Since then, I have joined the faculty at the University of Houston. I also teach in our custom-built home music studio, here in the Heights of Houston, convenient to I-10 and I-45. I stress the importance of ear training in my teaching, and teach all levels and ages of students.
